Set against the picturesque backdrop of Stuttgart's Schlossplatz, Jazzopen Stuttgart 2024 promises another thrilling edition of one of Europe's premier jazz and beyond festivals. Established in 1994, the festival has grown over the past 28 years into a celebration of musical diversity, featuring world-class performances in jazz, blues, soul, and pop. With its motto "Be Jazz be Open," Jazzopen transforms the state's capital into a vibrant hub for music enthusiasts. Over the course of 11 days, four main stages will host an array of international artists, drawing around 50,000 visitors to experience the magic. Recognized for its excellence, Jazzopen has previously won prestigious awards including the Live Entertainment Award (LEA) for "Festival of the Year 2017" and "Concert of the Year 2018" for the unforgettable Kraftwerk concert linked live to astronaut Dr. Alexander Gerst aboard the ISS.
